what to use to remove residual adhesive on trailer

I know this probably has been asked before but here goes anyway I had some vinyl stickers on my trailer that i removed because we have changed sled brands .The stickers though have left behind the adhesive does anyone know what to use to remove it without damaging
the finish of the trailer. I have tried mineral spirits and goo be gone but no luck.

3M adhesive remover. Got mine at CarQuest. Comes in a aresoal can.

Good old Turtle Wax bug and tar remover.
Let soak and wipe off.

I just used lacquer thinner to remove adhesive from the pin stripes I removed from the wife's car worked great.so I also used it to remove some sticker residue from the Triton clam and worked great on that to

X 2 on the WD-40...plus wont leave anything behind but an oily shine....nitro works awsome too if you have access to that.

well i tried the 3m adhesive remover first and it cleaned the area so well that it looks alot brighter than the rest so know i have to rub down the whole trailer with this stuff to make it look uniform.
