Some of the years might be wrong and I may have forgotten a sled or two but I have been a good customer. Favorite all around sled for what I do the ZR 900s. I still have all 5. Light and strong. I don't need a foot of suspension. Least favorite was the Doo. Sold it after 50 miles.

70 Bobcat....8th grade christmas present...guess my dad was an Evinrude fan...we beat the crap out of it...I always looked at the Cats of that era with envy....LOL

My dad came home with a 1968 Johnson Skee Horse 14HP. It was a rent-to-own deal which he eventually owned. It would go 40 mph with a tail wind, downhill and hard pack snow! Dad was an OMC fan as he later bought a 1971 Evinrude Skeeter 30 HP with reverse. My first sled that I bought was a 1971 Ski-doo 399 Nordic in about 1979. After my wife and I had kids and they were 4 & 6, I wanted to introduce them to the sport and how to develop hand/eye coordination for when they started driving. I found a mint 1973 Arctic Cat 340 Panther with the bullet-proof Kawasaki engine. That was a great sled! My son is now into the sport with his own Polaris.

Started at about 3 on a 1965-6 polaris colt. My brother and I made a lot of laps around the yard on that thing. Then the first sled that i called mine as a kid was a 1971 Arctic cat 399 Panther with the Kohler engine. Then as high school/college yrs passed I got a job workig for Polaris and I bought a 1995 Indy Trail. What a huge leap forward. then a 96 500 EFI, a 97 XLT limited, a 98 XC600, a 00 500XC, a 03 600XCSP, 06 Switchback 600, 2010 600 RMK, 2014 600 RMK, 2016 600 RMK, and now a 2021 850 SKS. Lots of good memories of all those sleds. Only one to ever have any problems was the 2010, burned down a couple times but close to 10,000 miles on it now.

My dad brought home a Polaris in 1965 that we drove in a park by our house for a couple of weeks and then he sold it. The next year he started Viking Snowmobiles with his business partner and ran it until 1976 when they closed. I ran several different Vikings for those years and bought my first Polaris, a Centurion in 1980, I became a Polaris dealer in 1989 and had new sleds every year, many of them early production models like a 1991 500 EFI, and a 1992 XLT, I was a dealer until 2001, and still ride Polaris today. I do need to get a new sled probably next year

Wow, snobuilder and I might be the same age, (provided that you were in 8th grade in 1970)

First snowmobile was a 1974 Columbia 440 fan cooled back in the year 1980
