What's an enclosed trailer worth these days?

So I'm thinking about upgrading my trailer to accommodate more equipment. But, I haven't bought or sold a trailer in a while. Just curious what this would be worth?

8 1/2x12' Triton Elite drive on drive off non tilt bed trailer. Newer tires, rims, lug nuts, younger jack front latch.

Not sure on age of that one, but worth crawling underneath to see how the frame is doing where the steel suspension mates with the aluminum frame. Have seen quite a few corrode and collapse (mine included).

IMO< snowmobile trailers are holding there value better than a LOT of things, due to every yr, the OEM"S keep raising the price tags on new one's, making older one's actually worth more than maybe they should be
I know I sold a 2008 enclosed one, recently for almost exactly what it cost new!
' granted was in great shape, but, a new one like it today as to in 2008, is a HUGE difference and the deprecation was almost zero on it!

but like all things condition and age matter
better brand names help hold higher prices, but they still have to be in good condition to get the premium prices

axles are what tends to fail first on aluminum trailers, due to well, there made of materials that rust and road salt is the norm in winter time use
next be bearings and hubs and tires!(tires have age limits, so its NOT just tread to show time to be replaced)
then wiring and lighting!
smart buyers know to inspect things GOOD,
but sadly, many don;t know what to look for and many BUY and find out the deal wasn;t as good as they thought!
so right now, IN season, prices will be there highest, good time to sell, BAD time to be buying IMO

after the season you tend to find better deals on new trailers and used one's!

Look in the classified section under trailers for an idea, I listed and sold an 8.5x12 with fiberglass top. Listed it for $2,500 in the morning that same night had $2,400 cash in my pocket with several inquires. The old right time, right place and right price. Personally I would start yours a bit higher....$2,800-$3,000

$1200--$1400. That repair patch could be a deal killer.

Get rid of the decal as well. Most people do not want them. Myself included.

I'll second that, very common problem (mine included too).

Just sold a trailer for what I was asking, and had people lining up. I am guessing yours, ~$2000. Need to get rid of the sticker tho. Most people won't want that.

X2 if you can get that sticker off and polished up underneath to where you can’t tell being a 12 footer you should be able to get ~$2500 for it all day being a 12 footer plus or minus a few hundred bucks depending on condition of everything.
