I am thinking of adding two sleds so that everyone can drive their own. We currently have two 2-up's. What is the best trailer for hauling four sleds keeping in mind that two of them have 136 inch track.

Not sure yet. Would be looking to do this next spring and it will depend on what happens at work. Just trying to figure out about how much would be needed.

start putting hundreds in a jar every week by spring you will have a down payment on a in line enclosed.or maybe the money for a 4 place open.what kind of truck do you pull with ? that will have allot to do with the trailer you buy.I think the flow and Triton 4 place clams are light and pull ez but a pain to walk in or even lift your hood.but you can pull with a 1/2ton no prob.even with a small v8 explorer.

Just look for a 4 place open trailer. You don't need the enclosed. You can get a very nice aluminum 4 place, drive on, drive off for $2500 or less. Aluma, Triton, Floe, any of the big trailer names will do you good. You could get by with 18', but 20' or longer would be best, and give you future options as well. Personally, I think the in-lines are kind of a pain, and prefer the standard 8.5' wide trailers. But that's just my opinion.

I have the Floe Protektor 8.5x20. They are very nice trailers and tow extremely well. It will hold four 136 inch sleds, but that is it. I wish it were longer as two Summits and two Renegades are very difficult if not impossible to load. They are only 54 inches high, so you cannot walk in them or wrench inside them easily. I bought mine used and in great shape for $6,000. So, start saving. As far as open vs. enclosed, I would never go back to covering sleds – what a pain. If you plan on keeping your sleds any amount of time, the amount of corrosion will be greatly minimized due to keeping the salt out from open trailering.

I have a Harbor Master 24ft all alm and its been a great trailor, owned since 2000.My trailor was ordered with car hauler opt so I can put a 3500lbs car in it if I want. 4 sleds, drive thur doors and only weights 2000lbs. Trailor is little pricie but is the last one you will need to buy.I had steel trailors in the past they dont last in a snowmobile enviroment.

Legend 29" Trailmaster inline. Several times it carried 2) Pantera triples (136" w/ rear baskets), Z1 Jag (w/128"), T-Cat, Spare 136" suspension and track, 2)Large dog cages, 4) 5 gal gas cans, 3) large coolers, 160lbs of sand/salt (don't ask), air compressor, 4)sled jacks, enough tools to rebuild a sled, battery charger and all normal stuff like 2-stroke oil, grease, gas dry, antifreeze etc.

Most stable trailer I ever pulled.
