Mine is 176 miles in one day. the pic below was for a 2 day run from rice lake to superior and back in the march thaw.
Every summer I get a group of guys together and do an annual ATV trip to ride up in the UP. It all started by going from Hancock to Copper Harbor and back to Hancock in 2001 but for the last 3 years we've been riding the MI-TRALE trails in the western UP. Last summer (09) we did 650 miles in 3 days. The only reason we didn't get more was I broke a belt (not bad for 7700 miles on it) The 08 ride we did 660 miles in 3 days and the 07 ride we did 440 miles in 2 1/2 days. We camp in Bruce Crossing and go each day from there. Our wives think we are crazy. We just like to ride, enjoy the sites and just have fun. The people we meet along the way when we stop to eat,get gas etc. are great. Next year we will be doing it again. MI-TRALE seems to get new trails added every year so it's nice to do different trails. I recommend getting a MI-TRALE map next summer and getting out there and enjoy some great trails, maybe even join MI-TRALE. They sure could use all the support they can get because with out them there wouldn't be many "Legal" trails. Stay on the trails and ride safe!
