When does your boating season end?

I'm just starting my fall muskie season. I'll guide till the lakes freeze, usually around first or second week of december - just in time to start sledding.

Last Wednesday for us, boats getting winterized today.
Looks like good weather this week but with the shorter cooler days plus hunting season, we just don't have enough time.

Already over. Being winterized this week. This was one of those seasons that is causing me to question why I own a boat.

Andy, I am taking it to the bitter end this yr. Watching boats getting pulled in the launch well right now. I am sitting on a case of Amsoil marine 4 stroke and 4 filters stalling at changing my oil. More coffee I got all day.

Going to pickle the boat this weekend after grouse hunting. The Wisconsin River is flooded beyond belief right now and you don't want to be out there. No sand bars anyway. Time to call it a season.

Oct. 17th she goes into heated storage. Last out first in. Oil is changed. Scrubing a bilge is not much fun. Wife's dogs got hair everywhere. Next yr. For my birthday I am getting a cleaning lady for this thing.

End of October for me, or when they shut down the lifts. The yellow perch season is just too good here in western Lake Erie.

When the lake freezes. I like to go for those walleyes by Marblehead when it's freezing! One nice thing about having a boat that is easily trailered. I feel your pain.

Having a somewhat warm garage, I'm waitin for a while yet. I like to think that I'll get out this fall and get some colder-water walleyes. The campground we're at shuts off water mid-October, so that'll probably influence things a bit. Might have to get out on some of the smaller local lakes this fall.
