When stopping somwhere prefer DJ, Jukebox,Karaoke, One man acoustic jam or full band?

Hey Guys (and some Gals) What do you prefer when it comes to music and what kind of music do you like to hear?............Sorry i thought i should have listed country music so i guess vote for the easy catagory if you like country.

No Karaoke or Country. If I hear it when walking in the door of an establishment, I turn around and go else where.

Anything but rap and dance music, but prefer nothing at all as I'd rather be able to talk to whoever I'm riding with.

I will second the nothing at all and if music is playing it needs to be quiet enough that you don't have to yell to have a conversation.

I don't care what type of music is playing, but I agree about the volume. There has been times we've pulled up to places and if we can tell the music is loud from the outside we move on. I'd rather have a nice quiet conversation with the people I'm with then listen to someone else's favorite music blaring in my ears. I guess it comes with old age? And stay off my lawn!

well, you did not state while on a sledding trip so Classic Rock with a full band. Sledding trip I prefer Braaaap! all day and ZZZZZZZZZZ at night.

Thank you for the replies guys! It has been somewhat of a debate on what people want to hear lately. With the low snow the bar owners have to make the best finanical decision so often times they pass on a full band to do something cheaper. I am in a a full working band at the moment and the bar owners have had to cut back on spending....Thankfully the ski resorts still book a lot of live music....... Funny cause i have seen people walk into a place where our music was fairly loud and they have walked right back out. With your replies i can see that some people want to be able to speak to each other. BigVin i was suprised to see you voted full band cause i thought you had you own one man jam? Thanks again and if anybody ever wants a full party rock band to play anywhere let me know.

I get a kick out of watching karaoke. You get to see the good and the down right awful. Have a few drinks and laugh. Heck if I have enough drinks they all laugh at me.
