where to stay in Cable?

Heading up in a week or 2. Looking to stay in Cable / Clam Lake area or somewhere near. Any suggestions are appreciated.

Barnes Wi. about 25 miles north of cable. Wildness Inn Nice place and food and drink near by.

Used to go to Cable for an annual snowmobiling trip each winter. Have stayed at various places, including Telmark, Lakewoods, and Garmisch. Haven't been that way in a couple of years, but can't say we ever had a bad experience at any of them. Our biggest gripe and one of the big reasons we decided to go to a different area was cost.

Mogasheen Resort on northerly end of Lake Namakagon is decent. Gas on site, small indoor pool in lower level of main office/owners lodge.

I've stayed at Lakewoods a couple times. I usually stay at the Lakeview condos in the back. I prefer to have a kitchen. Nice place with bar and restaurant. Nice area to choose different loops.
