I just got back from a 50 (and probably only this year) mile trip around the Random Lake area north of Milwaukee. Awesome trail conditions, maybe passed 15-20 people the entire time. Even with just the 1 storms snow, it's holding up pretty good. So why waste time driving all the way to Michigan. Just go anywhere from Madison to Milwaukee and a little northwards.

Actually, from Indian River south, there is good snow and trails aren't that bad from what I have investigated.

Rode 210 miles in Kalkaska area this past weekend. Trails are dirty but smooth and ridable. Up coming warm and possible rain by Friday/Saturday will takes it toll. Ride now if you can.

Not having read the whole thread I would say the way things are right now I would go to Mexico, Florida or Vegas if you want to have any fun yet this winter.

Good 1 LOL. Best advice is go into holding pattern until rain storm & thaw passes then regroup & best riding will be in different areas than it is today. IMO :)
