Yep 4s just keep getting better with crazy HP via supercharger or turbo. Can't see any long term future for 2s for trail sled applications bound to go all 4s sooner or later.:)

yep it will be the end I for 1 would buy 1 today and pay a extra 5g or6g over the cost of a m8000 .
88lbs and 400hp who would not want one?
I don't think 10 yrs but close
u can get close to 400hp with just head bolts and a tune and 400 or better with 5g in parts now just not 88lbs

What does the Doo 1200 or the Yam triple weigh? Both of those platforms can be built to get close to 400hp on those levels of boost as well.

Weight of 3 or 4 holer engine+ supercharger or turbo is going to be more than 88lbs. Yamaha engines are not light & could be next step in AR&D.

I thought I read that the Poo 800 is like 75-80 lbs. IDK the weights of the other 2s, but poo should be the lightest.

Nytro engine is 125lbs? That is before turbo is added.

My bud has a 400+hp Nytro. He also has shaved weight off anywhere he can. It's a pretty light 4s mountain sled, big $$$$ involved, but it didn't even get ridden this year because his pro rmk is just too fun not to ride.

It's not always just about weight, it has to be balanced enough to be able to adjust the suspension for how you want it to handle and ride.

But a high hp 90lbs 4s would be able to attain that. But would be out of most peoples budget.

I think all sleds are starting to get out of the realm of most peoples budget.
but hard core guys will do what it takes to buy em any way.
like I said I would buy one and my budget would be 4to5k over the cost of the 800. so no not this yr but with in 10 we will be there and prob in line with other sleds.
and I can tell u the worst part of jumping off a 350+hp drag sled and back on to a 800 is the getting back on the 800 .kinda like going from the 800 to 370fan
