Thanks! I thought it was a longer run to Whitefish point than that from the trail 8 intersection, guess its really not worth heading up that way then as its one way in and out I think
yes, road riding to the point not worth the effort. but the one or two loops above paradise, trail 452, is a nice ride and worth your time, imo

Ah, the ten miles I mentioned is by road. Last time we were there the road was perfect for riding as it never stopped snowing. I can't attest to current conditions. But yes, pretty much one way in and out.

if nothing really worth seeing there or any real snowmobile access points I think I will pass on that then, Thanks for the heads up guys! last year when we were up there too it never stopped snowing either LOL

If you don't want to run the road the whole way, just take 452. It will get you within a couple miles of the point. Just rode it last week. Where I circled is Doe Lake Road. There's a trail sign there, but it can be hard to miss.

If snow has been falling then the road ride might be ok. My biggest concern is if they have a thaw, they run the plows heavy and that will bring everything down to asphalt with the sides unridable. The buildings and beach are neat in the summer.

There are some fun trails from GM to McMillan and Paradise. Back when I solo rode I always got twisted around..

yes familiar with paradise area from GM, nice fun trails, little bit of everything
