It's going to be 45/50 degrees up there in the UP. But the humidity looks to be on the low side, so that should help to keep the melting to a minimum. And the snow in better shape to play in!!!
Low humidity — yeah, the "melting will be at a minimum".
See: sublime VERB 2. change … directly from a solid into a vapor without first melting. :devilish:

Just got back to Parkview in Twin Lakes, road off trail yesterday, was good but conditions quickly deteriorated, new snow from last weekend is now 3 inches of super dense wet snow. There is lots of snow in the woods and trail 109 and 13 are actually pretty good did over 100 miles today. Can not get through the 13 loop need to turn back a bit before Greenland, same with 109. So there is snow to ride on but don't expect anything great. Time to enjoy a hot tub and cold beer for me.

One thing good is there is no puddling in the dog's pen where the snow is melting, it seems to either evaporate or sink into the ground.

No sir.....I no-nut-ing about duh UP. I last rode there for 4 days back in 2002, so cut me some slack.
That may be changing by winter of 2019-2020 when I will NO LONGER HAVE TO BE BACK AT PHACK-ING WORK on Monday. Please excuse the temporary display of insanity.

Xxx007 / Fusion has asked for trail reports via PMs but only interested in Vilas even when outstanding conditions are available in UP via unplowed FRs. Imo to each his own but I like 150 mile wide playground if possible. Nothing wrong with Vilas beautiful trails but plenty of outstanding twistys just over the border in MI.

Winter of 2019-2020 when you "will NO LONGER HAVE TO BE BACK AT PHACK-ING WORK on Monday". Yeay!

Let's hope that by then ol' Ma Nature is still (?), er … will be back to making snow like she yoosta did[SUP]1[/SUP]!

[SUP](1[/SUP] That's a bit o' my "Bumpkin-esque" style!)
From Thread: running the peshekee river:
… Frank....I think it actually takes more effort to write in that "Bumpkin-esque" style you refer to, than conventional English. I've tried - can't do it. …
