Why all the complaining?

People we are in the BEST winter we've had in years, (so its cold dress for it) and the way people are complaining you would think there was no snow at all and it was 45 and raining! How about this if your sled is broke FIX IT if not TRADE IT, NEW, USED, SAME BRAND, DIFFERENT BRAND, (IT DOESN'T MATTER) and if your sleds not broke don't complain about it until it does. Just get outside and enjoy the winter before its gone and HAVE A NICE DAY!

I only got one tub of jelly with my toast this morning at Perkins.

It's kind of a phase that seems to repeat at some point every winter. If you recall, it got so bad last year there was talk of creating a "Yellow Snow" forum.

In a way, it might be a form of therapy so maybe it's not all bad.

#1: If this was directed at me (which I suspect it was because of my previous biotching thread) I never whined about the snow totals at all........BUT the constant double digit below zero ever freaking morning creates other problems (and yes, I have quality gear so I could be riding IF I was physically able to)......ever seen a couple of Tibetan Terriers try to poop while standing on a single paw each?

And #2: it hasn't slowed me down from what I HAVE to do around the house but it has sure killed my spirit to want to do anything else that I'm able to (remember the part about not being physically able to ride as yet).......I'm talking working on equipment and such......

All I was bemoaning or even pleading for was a break and return to somewhat "normal" winter conditions.......leave the snow but a slight break in the temps would be a relief......you know, like lows 0 to 5 and highs around 20 if that.......a "normal" U.P. winter day..........

Flame away............

Nope, buddah2 not directed you or at anyone in particular more at everyone , just seems to me everybody just enjoys complaining whether its a bad winter or a great one. We just got back from the Yoop and our new cabin that I just put insulation in, thur. nite the wind chill was -22 needless to say it was breezy and you should have seen my Shorthairs trying to poop with no paws on the ground in snow up to their necks (because they couldn't go where I blew out an area for them) my female finally said Dad its to cold come and get me, yep fun carrying a 60lb. princes in waste deep snow. but you know what the wife and I had a GREAT time and didn't even take the sleds. Everybody just needs to enjoy it, setbacks or not because this is gonna be the rare winter when you can say the snow was azz deep on a giraffe and it was colder than **** and by god we survived it and had fun doing it.

25 years ago 2/3rds of us would have blown our sleds by now just because we forgot to rejet for the temp change and nobody would have said a thing just rebuild and keep on going!!

I got a side by side fridge to donate if you need one. Ice maker in door.

Thanks Wayne but it will be a while, I won't be able to get power until late spring/early summer or whenever or if the snow leaves!! right now its pretty deep back there had a guy with a big 4x4 tractor and blower clean out the road and the drive.
