I owned an 03 RX1 and a 05 RX1. Neither had reverse. With all fluids and a full tank of gas and 'normal' snow and ice buildup I weighed each of them at our local grain elevator scale which kind of has to be correct. Just short of 750 lbs 'wet'. Most people ride their sleds with gas and oil installed. Published weights have been BS for years. The '05 was heavier than the '03 by a few lbs. The main difference was the track and the monoshock rear suspension. The '03 was the fastest stock sled I have ever ridden. Completely worthless in soft snow and a bear to turn but in a straight line it was nasty fast. The monoshock in the '05 scrubbed off 10 mph. Been there done that.

Great sleds, just having carbs now a days kinda sucks. They have 4 independent carbs and they are not real fun to clean and sync. Get familiar with those and you'll be ok.
