Today he said he wanted the GM to be fired in order for him to come back. So that should just about do it. They are not going to start firing people just to make him happy. We will find out sooner rather than later about Love.

The problem with Rodgers is that he is a big time liberal..he has never much liked Green Bay....also explains his diva behavior. Typical of a lefty...

Anyways, hope he sticks around and the Packers get him the players he needs around him..

Aaron's dug himself a pretty big hole, gonna be hard to walk-back most of his comments. As for Love, you have to think they know what they have. He's been in the building for a year now. Despite Covid he's been in practice and around the coaches for some time. That, and the fact that they saw something to warrant the trade and high pick last year. My best guess, they trade Rodgers to Denver sometime after June 1rst. Not even Favre burned this many bridges in such a short time!

If he retires, they get nothing. If he's traded, a King's Ransom.

If he retires pack still own him for a couple years so he can’t just go find a new team if he wants to unretire until his contact time is up with pack and will he want to sit out 2-3 years then come back? Yes they are all overpriced prima donna’s but that GM is also and in reality Rogers is more important to team than GM. I just couldn’t imagine being around such arrogant and egotistical people every day both players and management. From what I heard GM drafted Love without even letting Laflour know he was doing it and that is a dysfunctional team in the making when GM and coach are not on same page.

Denver is in a position to swing it money wise. What would the compensation look like? 2 firsts and two starting players? 3 firsts? What does an MVP go for? Whatever they get or don't get Green Bays superbowl odds go down and Denver's go up. On a normal team it is probably the GMs job to pay some attention to the future and draft accordingly. But there are not many Rodgers type talents available on the whole earth. I don't know.

I don’t understand why Rogers got sooo pissed off about drafting Jordan Love? He maybe a good back up for the team if Rogers gets hurt. I thinking Rogers sees Love can play and is threatened by his presence on the team. Is Rogers worth more money heck yes his contract is outdated. I think Rogers feels he needs to go else where to get the kind of money he wants and the Broncos can afford him and need him. Unfortunately as good as Love maybe the odds of taking GB to the SB this year are slim. The Rogers GB era is coming to an end sad to see it but that’s the trend when theses elite QBs become super duper stars. Who knows the Love draft maybe the best thing that happened to the Packers.

There go ticket prices plummeting, just when COVID jacked em back up so we could make some money.

Didn’t one of the packnuts radio announcers call him a $174M paper weight a few years ago??

U would think this is the perfect scenario the packer brass prayed for.
Draft who u think is your next franchise WB.
Let him sit a year or two behind Rodgers.
Rodgers has an mvp season then reap the haul they’ll get by trading an aging QB.

Two problems with said scenario.
Rodgers sped the plan up a year.
Love no where near ready to lead an NFL team.

Logically Rogers probably will play for Broncos but that won’t be a picnic for him either. Head coach Vic Fangio hates show offs will bench D players for dancing around after a sack says he thinks some of these antics are disgusting to him and the game. Fangio is a no nonsense defensive genius and wants his teams to be tuff as nails and do their jobs as team players. Elway is the same way as a GM. Rogers wants to have influence in draft and FA selection which seems very strange to me. Yeah sure talk personnel needed with management then walk away let management do their jobs. So I have a problem thinking Rogers will get the warm fuzzies from Fangio if the mouth starts with Rogers. Yes Rogers is needed in Denver and would make them a SB contender but Fangio won’t take crap from Rogers as head coach.
