Conditions must not be right for LES??? Direction, humidity, speed, temp??? Past year seemed to be really windy too??? Seems to be more of "straight line wind" storms now also???

Two straight days of 50+ mph wind seems really unusual. Got a little bit of snow this morning and now it's blowing around like crazy causing whiteouts. Schools closed in Houghton/Keweenaw.

I don't know where it ranks, but here in S MI this past winter has to be one of the windiest. Today more high wind warnings. It reeks havoc on my TV reception

Ya I don't ever remember three straight days of this crazy wind. Saying monday night we had a tornado just east of town. Wrecked a bunch of trees and buildings. So from monday night until whenever it quits today. Crazy....

Put it this way, for this winter (where i live) we have had more tornado sirens go off than snowplows go out to push snow.

Bi-polar weather this year

Wow what a crazy weather year. Two MAJOR thaws, across the entire area. Record setting Temps and duration. Tornadoes on 3/5. Unrelenting winds now for several days. And back to norm Temps 20's / 30's
What a season. One to remember. Or try to FORGET

NBC Rhinelander reported 29 footers on Superior....no idea how waves are measured but that is what they said.

Have had white caps in our toilets the last 3 days.LOL It has gone down for now and is going to be cold for next few days,snow for weekend
