I'll throw in a little story, maybe some will enjoy or?/
I knew am old farmer most of my life, a poor old guy on a family farm, all his life,grew up there and died there
any how
he and his best friend used to buy lottery tickets every day, a dollar ticket or two,
for about 20 yrs, they would take turns in going to store to buy them, and they always split any winnings, never anything big, , maybe $500 bucks a few times over the yrs
well one day the farmers friend bought the tickets and they one 2 million bucks, or SO< he thought
the farmers buddy called him told him HE WON, would meet him at the place set up for the check handing out /signing deal(this was in the late 90's so little different than now)
and when the farmer showed up with his wife and family for the check handing out deal at the lottery head quarters,
his BUDDY< pretended he never knew him, and ignored him, and even had security have him and his family removed!
NO lie, 50+ yrs of friendship and buying tickets every day for yrs and yrs together
finally thought he WON and could relax some
and his buddy screwed him! he never gave him a penny, and he moved out of state to his family down in FL,
they never spoke again.,a s he refused to take calls and or reply to letters or?/
Imagine that!
not sure what I would have done, but some how I think I might have ended up in jail LOL
100% true story too, old farmer did out live the guy, who ended up dying a few yrs after winning(his sister got all the money, )
but food for thought if you buy tickets with anyone!
