1. "… both sides of the 'boarder' …"? Both his/her left and right pockets?
2. Are you taking in (click →) boarders now?
(Or on this site, perhaps you meant "someone who uses a snowboard"? )

(Okay, my bad. I'm just feelin' ornery after plowing through at least three tediously long redundant scattershot promotional spiels from wildskies.com on the johndee.com forums today.) :cower:

Well, I could go back and reword, but I really enjoy hearing from you farnash!!!!!!!!!

if you guys SUGGEST that they put the 1.7 lugged fully clipped track that comes on an XF8000 and no studs....shorty will work also.....in combo with the 4 inch carbide dual side by sides with the same skis that come on an XF8000....and lengthen the limiter straps IMO.....that thing will turn on a dime and they will be able to go 200 more miles easily with hardly any fatigue....I have said this 100 times before....and the reason is just like someone said above....cat made the chassis so they should know what goes good with it....I did 1060 miles in 48 hours riding time with this setup and its like the difference between a LINCOLN and a YUGO....Yugo you working it hard....Lincoln you can use one finger turning...whatever you do the 1st thing to try if you don't believe me is the 4 inch carbide side by sides...not staggered type...but dual side by side....HUGE DIFFERENCE....and once they see and feel the change just from that simple thing...then they will have more confidence to try what I say on the track too....my 2c

we were supposed to have an above average snowy cold winter here and it was the exact opposite.
No offense to anyone but these guys can't predict a 5 inch snow fall 24 hours in advance.
There's no way I'm putting any thought into a forecast 6 months in advance.

The Marathon to Thunder Bay section is probably never going to happen and when I tried to go from Duberville to Marathon last March I turned around. They were working on it but it was half grown up and very rough.

After you Trailer over the Bridge at Sault STE Marie, You may want to go to Searchmont to unload depending on conditions.

I would leave your 2 Strokes at Home and find a 900 Skidoo. That 200 mile range is perfect. The exchange rate is down to 1.24 or 1.25, it was 1.37 last March.

I paid up to $6 per gallon for Gas last March and $25 per day for the Trail Permit in Ontario. A Credit Card that does not have a Foreign Transaction Fee is best "Capitol one is what I use" I almost think a Credit Card is better than Cash in Canada but I usually carry some just in case. Even halfway takes a Credit Card. East of there I know nothing except Quebec is not fun to visit or drive through with a Car, you may as well be in Russia. I have no plans to go back there. I personally think your crazy.

You are right on the Foreign Transaction Fee. Found out the card that had not previously used it, started to. Make sure and check before travel. And hopeful that they can get some of those beautiful/scenic areas opened up as they where in the past. The old "North of Superior Loop" was absolutely gorgeous to ride. Some what breath taking!!! I did use a SD 900 Rene on our 1100 plus mile trip last year and it is the perfect fit for Canadian long haul trips. Yes the gas is always higher priced, but with a favorable exchange rate, it is not that bad that it will stop myself, or my riding bud from going. We simply love riding up there!!!!!!!!!
