It's the rider not the sled. Look what Blair Morgan did on Arctic Cat then switched to Ski-Doo and kept on winning.

I'd say its a little of both. Tucker is really good but Arctic Cat has a bad ars race sled as well.

it is both.but I do have buds who have kids in sno x 1 rides cat 1 rides poo and neather are on the oem pay roll but allot of cool high tec expermental parts and info fall off the cat trailer in to a small toy haller.and small to no support from the poo teams

It is the driver, the sled & the support team. If you don't have all of the elements, you don't win. Blair Morgan was an excellent rider, he too had a top notch support team with Cat & Doo. Too bad he moved to Doo though, which I believe he did for more $, Tucker & Blair would have made an awesome Cat Dynamic Duo. I have been watching Tucker since he was 15, he has what it takes & he is a blast to watch.-Mezz

Certain sleds may have a slight advantage or suits a rider's style more than another. Definitely need to have a great team behind you on setup. I've seen sleds out motor other sleds even when one of the riders was clearly more talented piloting the machine.
