Wisconsin registation

My primary residence state is Wisconsin. I have a cabin in the UP. Two of my sleds purchased from WI dealers have WI registrations. My newest sled was purchased from a dealer in the UP. The dealer processed it with a MI registration. It didn't bother me because I do 100% of my riding in the UP. I purchase MI trail permits for all three sleds. After reading this thread, I'm wondering if I'm legal with the newest sled since my primary residence is WI and I don't have a WI registration.

what I was told is that you must Register your sled if you have it in that state more than 10 days.and this is what i found online.I use to live over there and ride in MN and at that time I dint need all these trail passes.but according to this taken off of the DNR website.thy want you to only if you ride more than 15 days..Nonresidents—As a nonresident, you may
operate your snowmobile in Wisconsin with your state’s current registration
as long as the decal or proof of registration is prominently displayed
and the snowmobile and the machine has not been in Wisconsin for
more than 15 consecutive days. The proof of registration from your
home state must be carried with you while riding and must be presented
to an enforcement officer when requested. However, you should be
aware that an out of state registered snowmobile that is in Wisconsin
for longer than 15 days must be registered in Wisconsin.Just letting you know. One more thing.I wish I could buy a sticker from my snowmobile club that is good everywhere and than I would know that the money would go to the area that I ride in.and if your an active member of that club you could get it for less it would be a win win for everyone and more people in clubs. theres always room for more help.instead of to people that think thy should get it.politics you just cant get away from it.Happy ridding
