Just want to give big thanks to langlade county, this past weekend I was up there at my place and the trails were great, hardly met a sled and at most found a trail rough for five miles. Smooth smooth smooth are my three majic words and if you foks didn't find smooth trails all i can say is you were riding wrong time of day, because if you rode from bar time on you hit it just right that the trails were glass. See what I am saying it is time my friends to start picking yout favorite time to ride. Peace out my friends and hopefully this post doesn't give away my secret of riding the smooth trails at bar time, btw I love this site and everybodys input

Wow, can not beleive they were smooth for you . We went from Antigo to Townsend and back and had some of the roughest trails in the 144 we put on that day. Granted we seen a ton of sleds out that day.

There has been very good riding in certain parts of Langlade County all season. It was just a matter of knowing what club grooms & where. You just could not put any high mile loops together because of trail conditions elsewhere. I made three early season trips to the UP (good trails), but the balance of my riding was here. I ended up with somewhere around 2600 miles. the first season since '86 that I did not get to Valhalla, although I drove up there Sunday and heard that the conditions were not that bad later in the season. See you on the trail next season
