That is a beautiful area. Skied that place a few times and loved it. They almost always have great snow. That SW corner has a tendency to get pounded with snow. So many options once you get down there. Do overlook the Silverton, CO area either. The San Juans are awesome and just stunning!

Yep terrain is unreal. Riding Cottonwood Saturday and South Fork/WC area Sunday & Monday. Will for sure have GoPRO video worth posting. Have a buddy living in Denver that rode Cottonwood yesterday. Chest deep POW. Never went more than a 100 yards off trail. Visibility is probably going to be bad till late Wed. Then looks like blue bird days for weekend. Going to be EPIC!

Drop on the backside of Cottonwood and you are in the Taylor Reservoir area. Right between Crested Butte and Aspen. TONS of snow in that area. Had a buddy who found a body once in that area in spring that had been missing for months in their car. Got stuck in October and then it started to snow and then buried in 10s of feet of snow and did not show back till the spring melt. Just amazing the amount they can get in short period of time. Have fun and get avy gear!!!
