I would advise you to let me check it out for you with your winning prize. Then next year or so, when you win again you will have all those pesky questions answered.

As to flights...

Unites flies from Chicago O'Hare (ORD) to Jackson Hole (JAC), with mostly non-stops outbound, and typically a stop in Denver International (KDEN) on the return trip.

American flies from Chicago (ORD) to Jackson Hole (JAC), with a stop in Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) in both directions. Cheapest prices now for a one-week round trip in June are around $366.00, and certainly subject to change on an hourly basis. :)

The last time I did that trip (in the summer/fall) I flew from Phoenix Deer Valley (DVT) into West Yellowstone (WYS), which won't be a destination for an airline trip.

An interesting note on the WYS airport:
- NO SNOW REMOVAL.
- ARPT AVBL AND STAFFED 1 JUNE - 30 SEPT; CTC FBO 406-646-7359 OR OWNER 406-444-2506 FOR INFO OTHER TIMES.
- HEAVY SNOWMOBILE USE ON/ADJACENT RY WINTER MOS.:)
- ARPT CLOSED FROM DEC 1 THROUGH MAY 31 EXCEPT WITH PPR (propr permission).

Yellowstone trip

bus8787, we did this trip a couple years ago, either one of the lodges is fine, plenty of night life in West yellowstone(everything very close to each other. We are SkiDoo people so we hooked up with Yellowstone Adventures, they rent extreme mountian sleds! We had a guide the first day, we did Two Tops, Lion Head, and the Madison Range. Incredible. We were there for a week the middle of February. We rode awesome trails North, West and South of West Yellowstone. Off trail is incredable Plenty of fresh track areas if you are out early. Be sure to do the Avalanche class put on by Doug Chabot, he has these several times during the year. All around the area mtavalanche.com. He also does them online. Be sure to rent probes, and Beacons. Be sure everyone knows how to use them. We flew into Bozeman, Chicago Denver Bozeman. Be careful Bozeman fog's in and we were deverted to Billings, rode a 1982 bus from Billings to Bozeman, that sucked! Wasted the first day.

Unbelievable scenery, Took the South Plateau trail out of W.Y. one morning, Moose and Wolfs crossing the trail back to Yellowstone park. Pretty cool!

Good luck with your trip, it will be the best Snowmobiling experience you will ever have!
