The web cam at great northern looks good yet, but we still have tomorrow to go.
Just know that the trails in town are trash, probably better to trailer somewhere and drop that has nice clean snow, NW of Mercer or east of Mercer there are some nice trails. It was 43 and sunny today up here in Manitowish waters, lots of melting near towns and sun exposure. For what it's worth the trails south of Lake Tomahawk down to north of Rhinelander along HWY 47 were looking good and the forest trails that they lead to must still be good I would think.

This is the last gasp and grooming stops. Great conditions for this time of year WI close date the 31. UP could stay open in April probably stop grooming but just adjust expectations if you want to ride

We have to work till 2PM Saturday and will head up after that so we can get up early Sunday and hit the trail before it starts to warm. Don't mind imperfect conditions for one last ride just happy to get one more in, sure can't complain after an exceptional season.

The temp is only high 30's now, and partly cloudy so get your last weekend in, no more grooming that I know of except maybe from Mercer club, lows in the teens so base will be good back in the forest.

If you’re willing to head into Michigan, gogebic area grooming and north country club groomed 100% of their trail system last night.
