so how far down has your track worn the alloy bracket that holds the skid to the rear of the tunnel?went to dealer yesterday after seeing my bracket was wore down about 1/8 on each side.wheel to short.the worst I saw was a M with like 7k on it was wore very close to bolt.I am going to find a bigger wheel and the correct bearing.maby put a kit together for other guys.I cant be the only one concerned with this prob.dealer said that they never saw a track wrecked buy the rub but I still don't think it is very good engineering

It is a very common issue on these sleds. I put on some of the same diameter wheels that are on the rear axle 6 3/8 or something like that. I have seen other people that have ground the TSL down, but that just did not seem like a good idea to me.

Lots of great information on this on Hardcoresledder. I had the same problem and replaced with a larger wheel and walla no more track rub on the TSL arm!

o tay so I ordered a set of 7in wheels from Dennis kirk under 50 bucks with bearings.will be here Tues I talked to a few guys who said 7 in will work.even if cat seed it was normal I say not. so I will feel better and have less rolling resistance.and I have a vibe sometimes I am thinking that the track rubbing a part that is bolted to tunnel with no rubber or nylon bushings could very well cause a light vibe.

well just got done reinstalling skid looks like the 7's will work the 6 5/8 would prob also have worked and only rubbed when skid was at full extension.looks like plenty of clearance even with skid fully collapsed.I got say the m sleds are by far the ez sled I have ever installed a skid in to under 1/2 hr done buy my self
