Yamaha Apex A-arm cover help

Any suggestions for some top notch ( custom ) whatever ... Apex a-arm protectors ? We just took out a link arm and after review in the man-cave have determined THERE has to be something better out there. The entire front end set up leaves itself open for damage ( shock mount below a-arm, sway bar link arm below a-arm ect...) Anybody have some suggestions. We looked at the Muffin Custom fabricated ones but they still leave the link arm mount exposed.

Any Input would be appreciated.

Yes, they stick down below the a-arms . We were ditch banging again, budds sled last night 0 - degrees or close enough. We just can't believe we can't find any worthy covers when we googled them ??? Any Thoughts.

I'm thinking " don't go ditch banging " is not the answer ( LOL) we are 2 old to change our ways.......

That same thing happened to may dads yamaha. We went across the lake and when we got to the boat launch, the 1 rock had to be right in the path! Smashed it good, tried to bend it back but it broke. Had to get a new one. What did you hit? The part doesn run very expensive. I looked at my sway bar mounts the other day and they seem to almost be bent, but its a slight curve just from fatigue. I haven't hit anything that would make them bend so i don't know on that one.

We don't know what it was, I jumped into a field , hit it, no problem on my XRS with skid & a-arm protectors. Jim is right in my track , hits it , said a few words.... I'm sure and we continued to DB back to base. We pulled it in the cave only to see that condition... upon review we noticed the design and even the shock mounts are sticking down below the a-arms WTH ??? Then we started to compare with my DOO,POO, & Cat and none of them have that stupid design ???? We looked on-line and some TotallyYama stuff came up but nothing with covers for the sway bar link arm . Me & my budd are a couple of cards but I can't believe that the mountain guys havent came up with SOMEthing for this condition. I figured they would be smashing these things up. Was hoping someone might have some scoop. Back in the day neither of us had sweet trail systems to ride on , we just ditched banged it. Wish I could have coined that phrase back then.

This is Jim the guy with the Apex with the now crushed Stabilizer link. I have watched Yamaha over the past years and am amazed how with all the great engineer ideas at Yamaha, why would you not try to move any stabilizer bars, shock mounting etc.. tucked in above the A-Arm. Take a look at the other big-3 sted manufactures and most have nothing hanging below the A-Arms.

I believe this would be a big opportunity for aftermarket companies to offer an A-Arm guards that also extends protection to these exposed stabilizer links.

Let me know your thoughs on this and any leads on protection products.
