my daughters switch "lever" broke, the piece you push back and forth. the switch and bike still work but i would like to fix the switch. replacement cost is $95.00 so i was thinking about an after market switch or kill switch, i think it is a 4 wire, any suggestions?

I bought an aftermarket tether switch for my Sea-Doo from a junkyard here in town. It was brand new and was like 15 bucks. From there it was just a matter of putting the switch in series with the on/off circuit. And this way if she falls off the bike will stop. Come to think of it this bike might already have one of these.

thanks, i'll try today
found an aftermarket for $55, the whole throttle assembly
it might be a china bike but its 14 years old and still taking a beating regularly by my daughter and i have a 3 year old son that begs to ride it all the time, i told him he has to learn to ride his bicycle without training wheels first - he already slammed his little gas quad into my new pool at full throttle!
if i ever make it back to the up i'd like to buy you a drink, i've read your posts for years and we are definately on the same page!

My kids started out racing moto cross on pw's we would disconect the switch and install a kill switch from a honda moto cross bike it would plug into connections on pw and was around 10 bucks only thing is it will be on or off you loose the safety switch that you have to switch when motor starts.

i haven't understood the start/run part of it anyways, it will start or run in either position
i'll have to take it apart and take it with me somewhere i guess, that would be nice if the connections would match up
thanks!
