Yamaha Vector hyfax wear

I have a 2013 Yamaha Vector that eats through the hyfax usually right at the bend of the skid. I am considering purchasing a Hyfax-Slide Saver Wheel Kit from a company called Schmidt Bros Motorsports. Has anyone heard of this or had any experience with this Kit and would you recommend?

How long have you owned Yamaha sleds? Typical to burn new hyfax quickly then stops. I use duponts on my Apex xtx and can get 5000 + miles in varied conditions. Just keep an eye on wear from here should be stable. I asked Kip about adding wheels and he said it would not help just use duponts.

Have someone show you how to put a bolt on the back of your ski to spray snow on your skid

When I used to ride trails all the time I used to install a stud in the back of the ski's to drag in the snow to help with hyfax wear and cooling.

I put the two wheel kit on right by the bend. this last week 540 miles in upper
UP no sign of wear at the curve run track as loose as possible. schmidts were very helpful.
