Yeah...I don't like to trust Ice Fishmen...lol.....but if nothing else...it's an early start to the season...and that is a good thing...it would be nice if the ice was 12-14 inches thick by xmas....and hopefully we'll have good snow

Fisherman have been out on the bays of Lake Wausau for a week and I saw a small shack out on Saturday. I guess someone has to be first.

I wonder if the first guy on the lake has "floaties" on his arms, and a life jacket on, just like when my kids first swam in the lake. Lol

A guy at work fished by Gullivers landing over the Holiday weekend and said they had 4" of ice.

Just an update.....one of the shacks over by mistletoe went in this morning.... thus why I don't trust ice fishermen.... BTW...the Wisconsin river in town is still open....we do have snow...around 4 inches last night...on top of the 2-3 we had on the ground...I love this start to the season...but we need good ice first.
