This might have been the biggest weather hype snow prediction flop of all time .....and that is saying ALOT!!!!!

BUT.....they are positive about man made climate change!!!!!!!

BELIEVE!!!!!! DANGER!!!!!!!!!

Thank gawd we named this storm before it fizzled!!!!

They need to take them weather models toss them out a window stick their head out same window. Tell us if it's snowing err not and see if it looks like it might.
Remember weather models predicted the global warming nonsense.

OK, my head just exploded...."Lyndsey" the weather cutie, with a straight face....just said "this was never predicted to be a heavy snow event"

Will it flop or will it not, we will wait and see, I always think the over sensationalism is just a ply to get the sheeple to buy buy buy and boost the economy, there clearing the shelves with their “panic” buying down here

40 years ago the forecast would have been very different... snow likely...4 to 8 inches possible and windy. I just hope the grocery store will take back all the bread, milk and peanut butter I bought when they initially started talking about it.

He kinda owns the place. Just saying..... he forecasts the weather too. :)

The news stations (weather segment included) are in the business of selling news. Good news doesn't sell. Us here are a small crowd that thinks getting a lot of snow is GOOD. So they hype it up for days ahead of time so everybody will tune in tomorrow to find out the latest on the death and destruction. When this passes there will be other news that's over sensationalized

yeah I was thinking about him while reading this thread. However John has to use the same crappy models that get it so wrong so it's not so much him or even the sensationalized people on TV but where they are getting their info from. They report what the models say and probably do their own interpretation of that info but in the end it appears they rely on a combination of models and pick the most logical outcome based on their accumulated wisdom. At least that's what I gather from watching the snow church. Not blaming John but the models he relies on to forecast.

To be fair they aren't always wrong and in fact are correct the majority of the time. It's the armageddon events that seem to be mostly wrong. At least that's my opinion.

I am all in with you on that Gary! I'm sticking to John's forecasts! The weather forecasts got it spot on with the Devastating, Damaging, Dangerous wind!
