The BLIZZARD OF 2017!!! Got two inches and the wind is hardly blowing.... Boy that cried wolf much? Every storm this year. Last night local weather had us in 10-16 inch range.... ***???? How can it be this bad?????

Storms not over yet, but some dramatic snowfall results...especially for SE MN.

By the way, this map is updated every day (that there is fresh snow and/or I am in the office to do it!) by around noon eastern time. It's in the snowfall/cover section.

I live in SW metro. They were hyping that this was going to be the '91 Halloween Blizzard all over again. I laughed at that, that storm lasted 4 days and pretty much shut the state down. Partly because the plow trucks were not even ready.

We got a big fat ZERO out of this. One co-worker lives in Cannon Falls, said they had 5-6", drove 2 miles north heading to work.....nothing. Unreal the narrow window this thing was. Hayfield had the largest total on the NOAA site reporting 13.5".
