Been visiting the area for several years and have our "usual spots" we enjoy dining at.
Recently, due to circumstances beyond our control ( hehehe )
Mrs. Parker and I would like to explore some new Dinner Spots.

Please ... chime in with your Fav's and why !

St Germain: Prime & Pub,Clearview Supper Club, and Black Bear Lodge.
Eagle River: Honey Bear, Eagle River Inn, BBT's, and Sweatwater

how bout breakfast? northern motel and cafe open 6am -2pm excellent breakfast and right on the trail

Black Bear in LDF Or Stringray's in Arbor Vitae both have good eats and are on the trail.

Breakfast is best at Wolf's pack in St. Germain

Best breakfast in my opinion is Lake Placid Inn on Hwy. F. Between LDF and Minocqua. I would recommend the "weed bed" amazing. The food is all home made, including the bread.

ST Ger-main McGregor's Blink Bonnie - Best steaks in the northwoods (Old Fashions too). $$$$
Hazelhurst The Watering Hole - If you like mass quantities of Mexican $$
Hazelhurst Timber Ridge CC - As stated above, "luv chef rene's" $$$

just a few suggestions south of Minocqua

Jacobi's - Hazelhurst (finer dining)
Silver Birch supper Club - Tomahawk on Half Moon Lake (finer dining) great food.
Bessie's on Clear Lake ... nice people and great food.,,, does a Sunday breakfast special.
The Edge (I think Hazelhurst) - great chicken dinner ... on Sunday's they have a chicken special... very good fish fry, all their food is good
Little Rice (town of Little Rice... not far from The Edge).... great homemade pizza and a very good beef sandwich... excellent Friday fish fry
Swamp Lake Resort... great beef sandwich and burgers.
Alpine Resort (Harshaw)... great hamburgers and home made french fries... I think on Oneida Lake.
always a good meal at Thirsty Whale.
Ten Point ... (Harshaw) great pizza.

St. Germain = Wolf Pack Cafe for breakfast
St. Germain = Golden Pines for German food
Minocqua = Chef Rene' @ Timber Ridge/Minocqua Country Club
Woodruff = Stingray's for sandwiches
Big St. Germain Lake = Clearview Supper Club (any meat)
Hazelhurst = Watering Hole -- mexican!

Now we're cookin' ! (no pun intended)

Helen - Mrs. Parker and I are quite fond of The Edge in HH too ! Their breakfast is excellent.

St Germain: Breakfast: Wolfpack....a little pricey but GREAT food or DJ's.....more economical and good food.
Dinner: Whitetail......GREAT food, atmosphere, and people. Knockers has fantastic pizza and sandwiches.
