X2. With halfway haven open you can start from searchmont now. Great riding from Searchmont up to Wawa

Good to see you back on here...
I've done 7 day trips several times statting in Petoskey riding to the bridge, doing the van /trailer ride to St.Ignace then to Drummond for a ferry boat ride to the island then ice bridge to St. JOSEPH Island then north all the way to Hearst and back. Make sure you get a Teddy burger in Hawk Junction.

That's quite a hike. Last year did Searchmont to Timmons to Hearst to Hornepayne to Dubreville to Wawa back to Searchmont. Was a blast. It was the end of season. Met the guys that run the club out of the Sault area up the Hearst. They called down and sent a groomer up to halfway and back for us, as they had stopped grooming that week as the temps were high but wanted to make sure the trails were decent for us on our trip back.

There currently isn't gas in Searchmont which is why we started there instead of the Sault.
