How about we skip (momentarily) who wins and who loses. My question is... With this be an old fashioned Bear/Packers game that is entertaining, or is it going to be a sleep-fest, full of dumb mistakes, penalties, plays?

I don't have the answer to Rodgers issues but there are several theories.
1. McCarthy play calling - well if Rodgers doesn't improve the coach will be the first to go
2. According to Hub Arkush, Rodgers footwork has significantly become worse
3. Conspiracy Theorists idea - ever since deflate gate the footballs have been checked and monitored by the league. Rodgers has publically stated that he likes the football over inflated. Now that the football are not to his liking he is having trouble adjusting. If you look at his performance numbers is corelates almost perfectly to the implementation of the new rule. (not that i believe it)

Im a big NFL fan but honestly, the Cubs game takes priority tonight. I bet the viewership numbers will be significantly down for the Pack/BEars game tonight.

I go with low scoring poorly played games, couple turnovers and lots of punting. don't see the bears O scoring that much and we can't score anymore. bet the under. ;)

I should have been more clear. Minus Wisconsin, the viewership numbers will be down. Viewership is down 11% to begin with and probably take a bigger slip. Chicago market, which is a big market, will take biggest hit.

Rodgers has the ability to change any play at anytime, at least he used to. So blaming McCarthy for play calling is not fair IMO. Either way he has a hand in play calling and is talked about with QB and Coach what each feel comfortable with in given situations during the week of preperation.

playing NFL QB is a mental game and takes full mental commitment not only on game day but in preparation. I think all the family trouble he has is playing a role in his poor play. How could one dis-own his brothers and parents. It has to have an effect on him...

If the packers(rodgers) play well, it shouldn't be too close, if he doesn't, it should be a good one!

Family life definitely could have an impact, just reference Tiger Woods!

No reason for Bears fans to watch, I don't buy into the garbage logic of beating the Pack makes a dismal season any better. Pack fans definitely have a reason to watch, could be a good building game for them or the BOO birds will be back out again at Lambeau.

guessing....pack 27 Bears 14.

There will for sure be penalties. Can't have any NFL game withoutat least 15 penalties. The refs need exposure so they can maybe get an Old Spice gig.

I always thought Ref's throw flags so Ed Hochuli could show off his biceps on TV.

Thanks to the Pack D the Bears #1 draft choice is looking good without Hoyer for the rest of the season. What will Pace do now for a QB now? Prolly pick up a no name QB wait for Cutler to heal up is my best guess. I'm sure the phones are ringing to dump ill fited high priced QBs but the season is over for the Bears so if a deal is made it would need to have future implications.

() Who knows what's wrong with Rodgers () .......hope he figures it out () sooner than later like many others have ()...... many other great men have had the same problem () and they seemed to have figured it out ()....... I hope tonight was the start of something for Rodgers.

Well that game definitely didn't illicit any more confidence in this team.
That first half was pathetic followed by slightly less pathetic 2nd half. The bears in the 2nd half couldn't of beaten the Badgers.
ohh well we're on to Atlanta.

Id agree, matt barkley haha

if hoyer stayed in probably woulda been a good game.

Bears are pretty much a lock for top 2 pick if barkley is QB

I didn't watch the entire game, switching back and forth between the cubs game. Agree with Timo, first half was a snoozer. Bears played as expected. Pack will win enough games this year, easy schedule, but I don't see them besting a quality team.
As for bears, oh boy. There gonna get a good draft pick, let's just hope they don't screw that up.

They have a whole lot of problems. I for one don't understand the running game. They have had 2 good full backs, but rarely use them. They have no game set up, or plan for that position. Any one remember guys like Riggins, or Zonka. Sure would help out the balance.

Rebuilt teams rising .....same old same old declining with older players injured..... Depth just not available in North. The Pats roll on!

NFC North just a trainwreck this year. Minnesota and Pack really been stinking it up lately. I think the Pack have a better chance than the Vikes but Pack defense is non existent (kind of like Vikes offense). Bears only scored off a Barth 54yd kick, off a penalty, and a hail mary pass. Not exactly good football. Best NFC team this past weekend was the Lions, who didn't play.
