ZL 600 SS rear shocks

I have a 02 cat ZL 600 SS with smart ride rear suspension that I think the rear shocks have given up on. Should I have the shocks rebuilt or just replace them with something new, if so any recommendations would be great. This is my wife's sled so the better the ride the happier the wife is and the better my day is.

My memory is a little fuzzy but seem to recall folks replacing the computer controlled shocks with ZR shocks.

If the original shocks made it this long, that's got to be a record for the SS setup. There is a reason the SS package was only offered one year.

Yep, gotta replace them. I had one of those, they sure worked good while they were working, then one day I went out ditch riding and completely lost the rear shock dampening. Replaced them with custom valved shocks set to mimick the ss shocks from www.deycore.com If you call him, he may still have a set sitting on the shelf ready to go-he did for me.

I had one that the computer went out on My shock guy re valved the shocks added like 15 bucks in parts done deal.
the ss shocks are a high end shock better than on a standard zr.
a good shock guy will have no prob doing it
