zrt 600 swap question

HI, I'm new to this sight but read alot of usefull info on the sport of snowmobiling. My question is, I have a 2000 zrt600 that ate a crank along with the case acouple of weeks ago. What years of a zrt600 engine would fit in my chassis without changing any kind of mounts. An exact fit is what I want. Any advice is wecome.My engine is non apv

they did not change the bulk head on the zrt you could bolt in a 800 3cyl if you wanted.otherwise the bottom end bolt pattern is the same for apv and non apv zrt600

now that I think about it I may know of a I think 96zrt800 with I think something bent like bulk head under pto clutch shaft been sitting 2 yrs ran well when parked if I know the guy who owns sled It is packed full of oil and gas dumped in southern MN

thanks for the info ezra! So a 96-97 zrt600 will slide right in using my same motor mounts,just keep my original pipes?

if you got a 96 motor... i would keep those pipes those sound nice!
