No excuses. There is plenty of snow.

Just drove 10.5 hours to Wawa Ontario and had a great time. Excellent trails, great food and friendly people. Stop making excuses and make it happen. You wait all summer to go. JUST DO IT.

You got any pics ???
I had one of the families that we normally do our x-mas/n years trip with, go there. I haven't heard back from them either...
Maybe they decided not to return.... the snow is so good ?

Nice! I'm just going to sit in front of my wood stove and satellite and wait for the 20+ they're calling for and ride Monday or later today!

Was it a lot of trouble getting over the border and what not?

You know.... I'm up on snow watch, " no snow "..... All I need is 4" of this storm they are calling for.... and I'm going to tear the farmers field to shreads.... That sounds unresponsible but is actually OK.

Just Bring it..... sleds are pointed out the door.

I can't believe all the people B1+C#1NG and moaning about no snow! Hop in your truck & trailer, drive a few hours north, and you got more snow than you need! C'mon people look at the $ you have invested, and the long wait for winter to start. Winter doesn't last forever!

I'd happily drive "a few hours north". Unfortunately, a few hours north from me doesn't have much. The 10 or 12 hours it would take me to find decent snow isn't quite as easy.

Finally got to ride my sled today, still need more snow. Irons area has 2-3 inches so I rode around on one of Ted Nugents landing strips so I had a consistent fluff of about 5 inches. Got out of work tomorrow so hope this so called blizzard kicks in. I need to do a lot more riding to get used to the new sled and break it in. I am very impressed so far on the flat.
Chilly, I never would steer anyone wrong in here. Glad you had a good time! Wawa is a pretty good secret up tlll now. Lol. I will have to go up with you guys to get you to the off trail areas. Look at your map where trails 3 and 7 meet from there to the Magpie is a very good spot.

If that's where I have to go, then that's where I'll go....I don't recall there being a lot of trails in the TC area, but at this point I'm not too picky. I was hoping for Cadillac, Gaylord, Grayling, Harrison, etc., but believe me, I'm watching them all! If I can find decent snow within 4 hours of here or so -- I'm gone Wednesday!

Thanks for the heads-up!

No thanks, I will wait for snow here in the midwest. We use to go to Canada every year, hunt there every few years, but after too many border hassles they can keep it. The Canadian people themselves were great, but if they cant lean on their goverment enough to make that crossing more Mackinaw Bridge like I am not spending my money down there. Most the people bitching are just impatient for first rides, they need to relax and just ride more in March, we practically have the yoop to ourselves that time of year.
