Anybody stop & talk to whoever was conducting survey? I stopped at cones but already 6-7 sledders stopped & talking. I'm lone rider so may not be interested in 1 guy no one approached so I rode south on 3. Just wondering what was going on???

I'm dying to know what it's about!! If he's out there today we're going to stop. I would really like to know what it's for because not to many people stop and I wonder how this survey can count for anything. If it is to count for something there should be a sign telling/asking people to stop and take the survey. I hope someone has stopped and can tell us what it's about!?

Thank you, Hmm I'm thinking it's for some grant money maybe. Could be about the trails for motorized through the Ottawa that we've (Mi-TRALE) has been working on to get open. I guess I'm going to make it a point to stop then and maybe others should too

They were trying to get people to sign the petition to recall Walker. Just like they did out in California during the Rose Bowl Parade. Idiots

Maybe part of this deal?
"The Forest Service launched its review last month. The analysis, according to an agency letter to interested citizens and groups it calls "stakeholders," aims to "coordinate recreation planning with the State of Michigan with the aim (to the extent feasible) to reduce duplication in meeting recreation demands, to minimize conflicts between off-road vehicle use and other uses of the Forests and to identify recreational preferences of user groups and the settings needed to provide quality recreational opportunities."

Didn't the Meister suit go through because they did not have an adequate survey of the actual end users of the forest land?

We stopped for one on the trail between Munising and Marquette a couple years ago. It wa s a National Forest ranger conducting a survey on use of the national forest. Took a few minutes of our time, and we were back on our way.
