I think they are showing attractions in the area with all those pics. thats a small lot.

I know they are trying to show pictures of the area but at least get the correct location labeled on the picture.

And yeah that is a very small lot. But what to you expect for 80 some dollars. ha

heck of a deal if you have a trailer you just want to slide in there and use it seasonally! I had to laugh at the picture of the town sign with a little sign under it reading "The Home of Ed Tibbett A Good Man!" I'm sure there's a good story behind that.

That's exactly what we were wanting to do. But, it's smelling real fishy. No info from the clerk, treasurer, and how are you going to see if you can get electric or sewer without an address?
I've got some guys number from the township to try yet. But it looks like the lot is useless and you wont be able to get a building permit.

It's a huge PITA getting an address, well, septic, electric, etc. There is information on the property called the description. They will permit it because the UP can't afford not to. I just went through all the bs permits to build our cabin.

While the property might be just fine, it is illegal to represent anyone without a real estate license in Michigan. Using someone from Southern California who has never seen the property but represents it as if they did, does not sound like it is on the up and up (did you get all the legalese about subject to the the laws of California...how does that work if you do. No mention of who pays the transfer tax, sales tax, title insurance, and who in their right mind would accept a quit claim deed? It does not guaranty anything.

My father always said that a fool and his money are soon parted. Maybe this applies here, eh?

I hope it works out well! I would hate to see the old saying change to "If you'll buy that, I got a lot in Trout Creek I'll sell ya!"
