Can't wait to hear the response on this one. Don't believe Ezra is real fond of Polaris. Maybe they were messing with you (and Ezra) a little.

Steve, as in rp7x? ezra is riding a Poo last he posted about it, but we all know he bleeds green! Too bad he isn't on a new Pro RMK rather than the old chassis, he would convert to Poo then! John may even after he rides Sklar's this week in Tog. Or maybe Skylar will convert to Cat after trying John's? I'm looking forward to their reports from out there, looks like tons of snow on the web cam.

well home early some one took out a steel guard rail on a assault fri night.
I needed some smaller pilots the ones I bought at my local dealer were not the ones I asked for.note to self/ ALWAYS get out the cheaters and look to make sure you have 40 pilolts and not 60s.
2 nd note to self always verify when some one at a dealership says yeah I got some 40s you have them in hand before pulling your carbs in the parking lot and have to fight that great engenering marvel of a poo air box.
oh well 14 hrs in the truck for 13 hrs on the sled could be worse.
spent most of fri in the porkies was hard to find other tracks even the popular spots like the mine and fire tower no tracks mi and mi of fresh heavy snow. kinda hard in the trees and deep revenes with a bad bottem end bog but hay picking the FR end up over streams and tress is to ez any way.
good times I will post the story about the house we were going to rent latter {yeah the one the wasted woman with 3 cigs going who told us she would not take up much room she was going to stay and sleep in the chair cough cough hack]first responce from RP7x did you have your helmet cam on WHY DID I NOT THINK OF THAT!!!!! funny stuff.
PS dont tell me the snow I was driving in this morning is still falling I wont be able to take it

no, It wasn't over the hood, I prefer it not over the hood because that snow mist gets in the air box and goggles. This was the best I have seen in a long time. We rode from 10:30 to 5:30, never seen another sled. We rode mainly logging roads and some bush and only burned 5.4 gallon on the Max, 5.0 on the xfire 800, 5.7 on the assault and 5.8 on the 550fan. Half our time was resting as it really takes it out of you hoggin the sleds around. The snow was absolutely perfect, about 16" of fresh where you still could hardly feel the base. It was carving heaven at it's best

Looks pretty nice Lenny! Did you have any fallen trees to go around and make your own path like we had to the Ride In weekend? That was a blast. rp7x is now carrying a neat little saw with him that we could have used that day, although the Max did a nice job of clearing the way! :)

Nice pics Lenny...

It could be said that I'm a little bitter about this winter (and I probably am) but these shots really help. We'll all get our chances.

I think that tree needed one with a spinning chain! It was a great day (minus the mud) and a shout out to Squat for parking his sled/butt on the branch for all of us to go over it on the way out!

Dave_B,

That tree was a piece of cake compared to what Lenny, rp7x and I ran into after you guys headed up to Houghton! There was no getting over these trees without rp7x and his chainsaw, so we had to go around them and make our own path through some pretty decent sized trees. That part was not fun on my brand new sled! My left front ski is still tweaked from getting caught under a tree going around a big downed one. It bothers me every time I look at it and may have to replace it. :(
