owners only
looking at a 07 f8 sp 802 mi
have not ridden one for more than 1hr and that was in 08
if I remember felt light in the fr end could have been set up but did not rail like a f7
most guys I run with have deep snow sleds or f7
what is your opinion
looking at $4300 with new etxra belt cover
is a SP so has adjust seat and bars.

I know all about the rev DD
use will be around the house suburban metro lots of curbs and ditch and big lake some trail.and the wife poss 1 weekend a yr at the cabin

I have an '08 F8 Sno Pro. Basically same machine. I love mine, but I ride trails only. They do tend to push into corners, but can be taken care of with double runners and some picks in track. They aren't faster than the Firecat 700s were. Will fly right up to 100 but will need some mods to run faster. I think it is a great machine and the price is right. Does yours have the Fox Floats? Mine does. They are awesome! The other thing I noticed about this machine is you can ride like 300 miles and not be worn out. I think my longest day ever was a little under 400. I was worn out but rode another 100 the next day.

I can't tell you about the ride as I bought mine in April but I have an 07, non-sp w/3k on it. Came with cover, belt and gal of AC oil paid $3500. Thought that was good deal but was end of season. 800 miles and SP at start of season seems like a good enough price that if it isn't right for you, you could every dime back out of it.

yeah it has floats looks like it was garage kept and at least trailered with a salt shield.tags are from 11 don't think guy uses.
I know they cant spank a f7 but they were not built to do that not much is built to do that.
on the fence with this on but I know it would prob be a good around the house sled and I do know a thing or 2 to make the 07/09 800 run like it should

Yep. I did the Plowman mount and just got a new ECU for free from Cat. The level of comfort for my 51 year old bones. when I went to this machine has me sold on the ride. I usually ride with my wife-she has an '07 F6 LXR. So, when I do go fast it usually is with the guys, and I ride in the back of the pack. 80 is fast enough for me usually now. An F8 Sno Pro for "around the house"? Wow!

Good buy, they can be tuned to rail, little increase in fr ski pressure, pull strap a hole or 2, make sure center shock has 1/8th of preload, stud it and good skags and she is a runner. Wont beat u up , hands down best ride for the body that model. Can't speak about the new ones & high miles but they seem too " pro-stiff " in the rear..... LOL

Watch the harness, it likes to be misplaced by techs & guys wrenching.( If I remember correctly )

I'll have to see/hear what you end up doing so I can get some ideas for mine after I see how it runs this season.

Good job on picking it up!

I got to say I did not feel good at all when I would open my trailer and see a poo in it .
I feel much better now when I open it and see a M8 and a f8 the world is now in order again

I used to have one of these sleds. I'm sure you are aware to check that all the recall stuff is done. I believe there were several little things like the servo clip and melted side panels (cant remember the rest). I used the Bertstrom triple point carbides and that seemed to really help handling.

I have an adjustable windshield and an extra tall windshield from my wife's '07 LXR laying around if your interested. It took a few tries to find just the right one for my wife too. She liked the medium one best.

PS,
My wife and I both love our '07 Twinspars and have no plans on replacing them anytime soon. My wife has nerve damage in her spine and she says her back actually feels better after riding her sled.

would like the tall but I think the shipping on the big boxes for them makes it not worth selling
