Where can I buy a trailer top for my 10 foot flow versa tilt? Or where is the best place to purchase a salt shield? I haven't decided which way to go.

i made my own. Spare 2x4s, spare plywood, spare can of black paint, and some spare hardware. I can remove it with ease, works like a charm. Don't have any good pictures of it but mine was free and works great (towed over 1000 miles this year with this setup and it works great) cut out slots for ski tips so the outside ski can hang over (trailer is 17'x8' plus 2' v)

Not sure if this will fit but M&M has an enclosure www.mmpowersports.com/used.php scroll all the way down to the end of the sled section. Found it when I was browsing the Northwoods Directory.

I had a Floe enclosed, now have a Triton as my newer sled didn't fit in the floe. Like them both, had a Floe topper which was nice. If you can get one for $1,800 like Attach_06 says that would be a good choice if it's in your budget. The dealer in my area wanted about $2,800 because they said the shipping was real high for a topper only, and according to them it was a pain to install. I had a drive on/off so that could make a difference too.

You may want to check out some used trailers in your area. I found that I could buy a nice 2-3 year old trailer with enclosure for the price of just the top and I would still have to install it. If you subtract what you could sell your current trailer for from the purchase price of another one you may find that its the cheaper way to go.

You can pick up a salt shield from almost any place that sells sled trailers. Most are two piece and can be adjusted for width. Go enclosed if you can afford it and store it. The open salt shield I have is called Stormfront. It was purchased from Recreation Plus which is a Yamaha/Triton dealer in Twin Lakes WI (Southern WI). I swapped out the pop rivets on the support bar for stainless bolts w/lock nuts which kept vibrating/breaking loose in the cold and bumps. Mine has given ten years of solid service. Open is harder on your covers and the sleds can get dirty at times. Just depends on the weather.
