Whitedust, Cableas has put the pinnacle gloves on sale for the last 3 years for 1/2 price in their winter clearance sale...that's how I bought mine last year. Winter is just starting so the clearance sale catalog should be out in a week or two--LOL. Seriously, it will be out in January sometime I think.

I just ordered the klim summit gloves today. Got them for $106. I'll try to remember to post a review after I use them.

i wear klim powercross gloves. fully waterproof, as is all klim outerwear. i also sometimes wear spyder leather gloves. now im in a predicament. i did some nerve/circulation to my left index finger(brake lever finger) and it gets cold easy. so i am thinking of getting a pair of the "claw" gloves. thumb, 2 fingers, 2 fingers. any suggestions would be greatlu appreciated. i have handguards on the sled and hand warmers are hot! dont really want to go to a full mitten or gauntlets. i also sometimes wear the aluminum/white glove liners under my gloves if really cold

Ya i know them as handwarmers/toewarmers. Not gonna fit easily into a single finger though. Itl work in a pinch. I was trying it last night to see if one would fit. It will.

I just bought a 4 pack of Kinco Pigskin work gloves at Acme Tools for 39.95, I have been using these for the last 12 years and I do ride in some very cold weather. They are thin enough in the palm that you can feel the handwarmers ( I think some gloves are too well insulated and the handwarmers do not penetrate to your hands). I wear them for hunting, shoveling or snowblowing, and almost everything else. They are not waterproof so I always bring an extra pair and I also bring some Klim gloves with that I bought on clearance a few years ago at Cabela's for about 30.00 but haven't worn yet. I can't see paying 100.00 or more for gloves.

I have the Klim Togwotee gloves and love them. These summit gloves look very similar so you'll probably have a really nice pair of gloves.

Actually a simple pair of leather lined gloves under gauntlets and you will need to turn the heat down on your hand warmer.

If you haven't tried them for extreme cold you are missing something for sure. They keep the wind off and keep the heat in.

Nothing like a turbo to keep your feet warm either....:)

Haven't ridden in a few years but when it got real cold
I used index mitts. This was before today's super handle bar warmers.
