Lion or Lamb?

I think it is going to be a cooler spring but with not much in the way for snow at least here in S. Wisconsin. I don't think we will get any big march or april dump of snow. ( hoping that by saying this the first 2 weeks of march are filled with snow until the trails close here march 15, then let northern Wi, and the U.P get pounded till the end of the month)

We in the UP don't need any more! I hope the rest of you get pounded, we've had enough! Don't you think 50 to 56" on the ground is enough? Check out the snow cover map, these are just the measuring locations, imagine what it's like out in various area's of the backwoods up here, beyond 7'+ deep. The only thaw we've had for the entire winter so far was approximately 2-3 day's. With spring around the corner, it could mean for different trouble all together. BTW, we've been in Lion status all winter long, I'm all in for In like a Lamb & Out like a Light!-Mezz ***

I prefer Lamb, I think Lion is much harder to grill and have it remain tender. certainly harder to kill. Oh wait? that's not what you were asking was it?

can someone clean my roof off ?who do you trust or pay? I don't want to pay someone with no insurance, but Hubby says if they fall off, they will land in snow! Gotta love his thinkin.

I don't mind if we get more snow. But this -10, -20, -30 at night and highs in the single digits can go anytime. Trying to winter livestock in this weather is just brutal.

I'm all for a few more snowfalls, but like previously mentioned....you can have this cold crap. By crap I mean highs in the single digits and lows below zero. Give me highs in the low 30's for a couple weeks. At this rate I won't have green grass til July 4th. And now the time change is coming up too......oh great, more time to look at all the ice and dirty snow that we've had since Xmas....Stick a fork in me, and bring on the lamb, sheep, bunnies....heck I don't care, but the next lion I see is gonna get one between the eyes....LOL...

if it ain't gonna snow im done with this winter.
the cold was awesome in jan. and feb. to keep the trails nice.
but this constant 20 below stuff being march 4 im done with winter.
i'm ready to dust the clubs off.
im ready to not have to put on five layers of cloths and gloves boots to spend 10 minutes outside
im ready to not track snow in the house to have it melt into a puddle and then walk on it with my socks.
im ready to get in my garage and wash the floor off of the 3inches of salt residue.

LOL! Gotta love it! I hate to see you take the blame for it if we do get pounded, but I'll let ya! Really though, March 3rd & -22 this a.m., really!? I can't believe it is March already either, probably because it feels like we never left December! This has been a tough one no doubt & despite the cold, at least we haven't had to be out in it to move more snow. I guess if we got some freshies through March, I wouldn't mind, as long as we can realistically go out and enjoy it.-Mezz

Scottiking--I'm thinking Meg will vouch for me when I say before you drove out of Twin Lakes you were already talking about coming back. Ooops, I take that back, you were talking about coming back when you were visiting in our living room before leaving TL.
