What Do You Think of the 2015 Snowmobiles?

I think the sled makers are darn near going to price themselves out of business. For as much as I get to ride, new family, work, etc. I would really like to see some more basic models. Especially to get younger adults into the sport. IMHO

that's no bull it is getting ridicules.
especially with the micro changes from yr to yr no new tooling no new venders after yr 2 it is mostly gravy

The prices are getting to be to steep! Looking at sno checking a 15 M8 Ltd, $11,100, before taxes. I never thought I would be buying a sled over $10k, but thats where their all at.

I feel that all the OEM's have done and are doing an exceptional job of providing us with snow machines that last longer and are a heck of alot more comfortable to ride. Now if they can just keep the price at level that everyone could enjoy them.

Doo has some pretty cheap mxz, renegades, and summits called the sport models. 7-8k brand new. Come with 600 cc carb or 600ace for mxz, 600 carb for renegade and 800power tek for summits.

X2.

You can still find some good deals on leftovers or Indys, etc. I think continuing high gas prices is more the problem than ever - we were up last weekend, and if you ride 250 miles/day, which isn't crazy at all, you're going to spend about $100 in gas each day (10 mpg's, $4 gas), and then you have oil on top of that. I suppose for a trail rider, the newer 2 strokes or any of the 4 strokes are going to save some money per mile.

gas is huge right now every fill up i spend 20-25 bucks on 87oct and buddys spend 40-45 on premium for 2strokes at weeks end they spent 200 more than me

Overpriced....

Have you checked out the price of new cars and trucks lately? For what I paid for my first house back in 1989 I maybe can buy a new F150.

But thank goodness our government says there is no inflation. Fuzzy math!?

It's like anything else,( not a slam to dealers) sell less, charge Moore . There are folks that have to have the latest, and they will pay. The mfgs are counting on this. Just an example, a bud bought a tv for 2g,a year later,I paid 900. He had to have it. I could wait. Sled technology haven't changed much in 5 years. I will wait and pay less.

For those of you buying a new sled to save $ on gas. You need to do a little math . You can buy a lot of gas with the taxes you pay for that new sled. The 2g you lost to depreciation ,the first year is just chump change, compared to the gas you will save. If you want a new sled,go buy it!!

I was just venting a little. I have some friends that buy new sleds for some very stupid reasons. Why can't they say, "because I can afford it" or ( I worked all my life to enjoy retirement). No,they say,I'm going to save $ on gas or this power steering is going change everything . Mean while I'm riding the same sled to their 3 new ones.lol

Their swimsuit colors are way too normal. Get some ugly bright colors on them! Lots of wraps on Doo's next year. LOL
