Trail Pass After Season's Over

Anyone know if you could run into trouble if you ride the trails now and don't have a 2014 sticker on your sled?

yeah, looking back now kind of a stupid question. Guess I was just typing streams of random thoughts last night.

here I thought that was a question to what everyone does with them at the end of the season. I pull them off the sled and stick them to my workbench in the garage. I would post a pic, but Not until I clean the bench off from the project I finished the other day. What a mess..

Actually that's kind of what I do too. I've already pulled them off, now I'm going back up and was thinking "do I need to put one back on?"

Guess you should. It will be one less charge on you when caught on a closed trail. p.s. I save permits to. Idaho is the hardest to save.

Just got home from getting things ready to go for the weekend including putting the sticker back on. Realized just cause the trails were closed, doesn't mean you don't need the sticker.

FYI rode last weekend cuz everyone that I called and posts on here(some posts) said you could ride. Its a big NO! at least from Bessemer to Bergland. Got stopped by county deputy. Nice enough to let us turn around and go back to the house. That's all Ill say bout that conversation. However raises a question. I know that you have to have a start and stop date for lease and insurance purposes but, why couldn't another 1 month contract be written at the same time just in the event that there is enough snow? 2 signatures, 1 meeting. No snow, throw it away. I know that there wouldn't be any grooming because of budgets and all that stuff. It just seems ridiculous that there is 3 ft of snow and cant use it, places closing that would be happy to make an extra $100 bucks on a Saturday. Heck charge $10 bucks for a second season trail pass, Id pay it. and so would have the other 2 guys that were with me.

Were you on a multi-use ATV/Snowmobile Trail? If not there's your answer...

Should have come a little further North, you would have had many miles of unencumbered riding, maybe next time....-Mezz
