I know one thing, I hate that crap. My mommy tried to get me to eat it and I won, sat for 6 hrs and than sent up to my room, ate one bite and about puked on the table,,,,,I showed her!

Actually, I just looked and ezra has not viewed this thread yet. I love asparagus and that stuff is like eating candy when it's fresh picked like that!

My folks loved it and would often know where it grew along the road and my dad would get all excited about it and jump out and cut it down, bring it home and eat it. I always called it "AsscrapIguess"

LOL! I didn't like it as a kid either, along with broccoli and cauliflower, but I love all 3 of them now!

As a kid I did not like cauliflower or broccoli, sprouts, asscrapiguess, green pepper , onion, tomato. Today I despise tomato and asscrapiguess but love the rest. I don'
t mind cooked tomatoes and never pick it out of anything except larger chunks on salads. The vomit will be a flyin if I eat the stuff.
Seriously I am not a picky eater but there are a few select things that are just mind boggling horrible to me and the all time worst things are olives,,OMG they are simply disgusting,,,along with sourcraut and butter milk

never in a million years did I think I'd be reading a thread about asparagus on a snowmobile/weather website....
Since it's green I wonder if Cat oil would be better than olive oil to cook it with. Better yet, I wonder if I cooked some in olive oil and feed it to m8man would he run and puke after?
