can you believe we are at this time again. It is exciting to think we will be on the old rattle trap machines again. Some of us will be planning on what trail to ride and what town to head to. Some of us will be sitting at the bottom of a hill eyeing up a line and daring his buddy to take the impossible line saying "betcha cant hit that one".

It was so nice in Greenland today about 60 & sunny this afternoon & Vilas was kinda gloomy today after Tstroms last night. I was thinking the same towing the trailer back home sure hope winter is on the way!....what a contrast we could see in a few weeks. If serious about moving best bet is the Fox Valley my daughter moved there and got an excellent job with benes second to none. Really not much going on in Rhinelander outside of retail Wausau better but not great got to move to the west side of Lake Winnebago tons of good paying jobs there. I have a good idea what you are going thru now that your 50 time to make hay to retire. Next door neighbor gave up on WI Northwoods for a job , in his early 50s too, his family is still here he works in Menasha rents there & comes home for 3 day weekends. Sucks but need to do what you need to do in next 15 years are so incomewise....I get it.

Hey Lenny regardless of Greenland or Rhinelander I might have a job I could use your expertise on. Tearing down paneling from a large hallway and front room, pretty sure it will have to go down to the studs and need new drywall. Don't mind hanging it but would like a nice tape/ mud job and mine doesn't always meet my own standards.

I certainly have had no shortage of work but like many people, I am not a well rounded business man so I think I am better off working for someone or inventing something, winning the lottery. I'll be flippin burgers at MCDonalds soon. Obama wants me to be able to support my entire family doing so, yea!

Got to remember the houses double in price and taxes triple! A subdivision acre in my area is going for $30,000-35,000 a country acre $15,000-20,000 I live just west of Appleton. My parents pay $3200 a year for taxes on a 1600 sq. ft. home on .75 acres. Food may be a fuzz cheaper though.

um,,,it's not often I am able to post during the day but sometimes it happens. Today was a weird day because i ordered some windows for a job and they sat for a few weeks so they sold 2 of them on me anticipating me not needing them for a while,,I needed them today so I did odds and ends. Did not dissapoint me in the lease because I have been working 7 days a week sun up till sun down for almost 2 months. Sometimes a break it welcomed!

24 days my fellow mongrels and our snow machines will be sliddin down da trails. Snow like a crazy mugs right now. I love driving down the highway with the high beams on when it snowing hard, can be hard to see but I love it.

I think we will get the good stuff to stick next week. Must have had at least 4" last night big puffy flakes in Phelps but melted down to 2" of very wet slush -mush. Knocked out all my satilites so snow removal 1st thing this morning & heavy wet stuff to move.
