I have to agree with John on this one, there's a higher power involved:) Just like the 316 days to complete 90,000 miles, some things are just meant to be and for what it's worth if one man can voice his opinion so can another. What Lenny did was completely acceptable in my eyes and a person should be allowed to voice his opinion as fusion has done so himself. Kudos to Lenny for stepping up!

Not to hijack the thread, but is there a "tally" somewhere with what parts this Vector has gone through for 90K miles? I'm more curious than anything else. My Fusion would have needed about 25 engines to get that far!

some people just are not happy letting others think they're an idiot........they have to open their cakehole and remove all doubt!!!sometimes we all say things in our lives that we wish we didn't,at least "man up" and take responsibility for your mistakes/actions

To Kip - If I recall, the work on this sled is all done, or mostly done at your shop, correct? I recall there was a valve job done, right? Any other significant replacesments, or adjustments? Assuming oil changes, plugs, lots of exhaust donuts;).

We did a head job on it just over 80,000 miles after the original timing chain let go. Other than that it's just been normal maintenance:) Pretty unbelievable!

Thanks for sharing. I was aware of his advocacy but wasn't aware of his webpage. Its a cool page to track where he goes and such. The Valentines Day 500 sounds great! good luck to Nick and keep up the good work.

Wow thanks for sharing Kip!!! And having a pair to dare mention the bible reference of 316. It's the most famous one ever. Usually see people at football games with the sign. It's not very popular these days. And congrats to Nick!!! The wife and I were speed walking the dog the other day in my neighborhood and Nick rode by waving. I can see his vacation home from my kitchen. Love his story, motivation and religious beliefs.

To correct one thing on your latest statement fusion he is not a sick rider, he rides for people battling cancer and for those who have passed from it. Please at least read the post so your responses our accurate. You have turned this thread into something it shouldn't have and I can guarantee you I do not have liberal views so as for me you can throw that out the window. It's really too bad you don't consider your step daughter a hero because in my eyes she would be and is. You seem to have a problem with the main stream people and the changing of times and I can't say that I like them any more than you do but the way you speak stereo types people such as myself, Lenny, and others and it's simply not true. You do not know me and doubt you will ever care to but don't stereotype me please because you could not be more wrong about myself and this site in general. I have made life long friends from this site and people on here actually care about people, our country, and certainly our soldiers who protect us now and have gone before us because of that duty. You have much hate built up and that's too bad. I actually do feel sorry for you and I don't care if you feel I should or not. I truly hope Johns leaves this thread going as it's intended for the awareness of what Nick and his foundation have accomplished and continue to accomplish. I will not apologize for using the word hero to you or anyone else when it comes to Nick because it's true. I also have a brother in law who is a hero and yes he serves his country still and I have many relatives who have served so there are many different types of hero's. My father and my mother are my hero's too. They raised me in a Christian giving home and for that I'm grateful. When I pray in the morning I pray for my family, my friends, our soldiers and their families, for the sick, and many other things I don't need to share with you because I strongly doubt you would care. When you know someone on a personal level then judge them but until then do no judge me or my friends you know nothing about. Your opinions are fine but they really weren't needed on this particular thread. So I guess according to you we should only speak about soldiers on here and nothing else positive or nothing else that deserves support or props? Also in case some of you do not know at Pat's Motorsports we do and always have offered a military discount. Just thought I could drop that in there for those of you that do not know. Also please do not mix up the word offending with ignorance. They are two very different things. Also, after your statements I doubt anyone from this so called snowmobiling site would care to know you fusion. Just MHO... I feel bad for getting too deep into this conversation but this means a lot to me and although it's not the smartest business practice for me I really had to let loose on this one. Love you Fusion and I'll keep you in my prayers brother, you're going to need them.

Who's the "hero" again?

This is happening NOW! Feb 3, 2015 - you want to "exhault" someone - here's some candidates. Imagine how their families would feel when comparing what they did to your guy?
You wanna pray for someone - start praying, if you don't know it, I'll give you the words for Our Father, Hail Mary, Act of Contrition, - let me know. Yes, now I'M emotional. Sorry
FWIW - the only issue I have is classifying the guy as a HERO. Is he doing good, charitable things, of course, but it isn't heroic to ride a sled for charity, anymore than it is to run a marathon for muscular dystrophy at a buck a mile.
This just struck a nerve.

Just because the media doesn't show it doesn't mean people don't care on here and my thread certainly wasn't making comparisons to soldiers, you were. My thread wasn't meant to mention soldiers. Start a thread about our soldiers fusion and I'll pitch in a lot of positive words and my compassion similar to what you should be doing for this thread. Once again, if you read my last statement you would of seen that I'm already doing what you've asked for and so are a lot of other people on here. I'm not the enemy fusion and neither is anyone else on here for that matter. You're taking out your frustration on the wrong people and it's too bad. You're simply wrong and it's ok. There are times when I need humbling too.

If you weren't concerned with possibly being wrong yourself, you wouldn't keep posting to justify your "heroic" comment. Rationalization is the 2nd strongest human drive.
We just disagree, nothing will change that.

I don't know man - posts like these make me and probably others more likely to want to buy a sled from your business (or least remember to pay for our gas next time - just kidding) than if I didn't know anything about you.

He wouldnt keep posting to justify his comment if he wasn't concerned about being wrong? ..... So he's just supposed to take the slams and not say anything? And because he replies you THINK it's cause he is concerned he may be wrong? (Stinkin thinkin IMO) It's called a debate where each side has it's say. In my opinion Kip is not wrong for looking up to the guy (Nick Keller) who has taken his love of snowmobiling and applied it to a great cause, cancer. So you dont consider him a hero when compared to war veterans? So what? We could go on all day about opinions and comparisons?
