From all reports I have seen the Polaris 800 HO and the boring Doo etek 800's is trading wins this year with the poo quicker and the etec catching up at a 1/4 mile.... too bad most important trail speed is at less than 1000'....LOL

I hope for the sake and serenity of the Doo-herd, they come out with some sort of fun chassis to compete with the AXYS.

Yup from all reports, had to see for myself. Welp the 4 that i have ran on the lake this year got drug like they were tied to a tree. 2 bus lengths minimum,hehehe. i was not the only etec in these races always 2 or 3 more. Like i said tho man, I liked the axys switchback on trail, but still prefered the gade, probably becuase i was used to it. You can take all the shots you want at the REV-XS. No sweat off my sack

Powerwise? Powertecs make 150-155. the etecs were high 150's from 2011-2014, but the 15 exceeded the expectation. I rode 2 powerteks back to back with 2015etec and honestly i dont remember them vibrating that much!!! I guess you dont notice it until you switch rides. The 2015 etecs are bar none the smoothest and most dialed 2 strokes ROTAX has ever produced.

do you think there may be a r motion skid in a 600 ace ever? My wife loves to sled but hates riding with other people than myself because they always go so fast. She just likes to cruise. On a grade, if t was flat as a board, her ideal speed would be 40 and I don't mind that either because it's just awesome to be out there with her where she can enjoy herself. A few weeks back Diana was able to try out OMDaves 15 Gade 1200 and she loved it but so much power she would never use so she sacrifices all the MPG's of a Ace. If there was ever a person who just loves to be outside on the snow and needs low HP it would be my wife. Heck, her 91 Yamaha Venture 485 fan cooled has plenty of power for her and it runs 65. There would be days when we encounter rough trails so looking for the best quality ride out there for her. At some point I am going to surprise her with a new sled and it's going to be what ever rides the best and is a warmer sled, low HP good MPG's, none 2s. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. My 07 Yammi Rage did fit her somewhat well with ride, mpg's, right at 20 and with simmon skis it was a pleasure to ride but the seating position was way inferior to the doo's for her personal liking. Doo has a lot of versatility in their line up and I love the idea of multiple 4s to choose from.

At my age boring is a good thing ...LOL... if you think a gade is boring you must be bored to tears with your Apex. Throwing a sled around for trail riding keeps me away from AXYS too much work for big mile days. Aok to play on but for trips I'll take boring everytime.
